01 Scope
This code applies to all members, partners, representatives and staff of the European Business Alliance, across every chapter and representation.
Legal
Code of Conduct
The rules every member of the network accepts on joining. Common to all chapters.
02 Integrity
Members conduct their business honestly. Corruption, bribery, facilitation payments or any undue advantage — directly or through intermediaries — are not permitted.
03 Legal compliance
Members comply with the law of the countries where they operate, including competition rules, international sanctions, export controls and anti-money-laundering obligations.
04 Use of the network
The Alliance network exists to develop legitimate business. It may not be used for abusive solicitation, pyramid recruitment schemes, promotion of unlicensed investments or the spreading of false information.
05 Use of the brand
The name, logo and membership status may not be used to suggest that the EBA guarantees, endorses or recommends any specific business, product or investment.
06 Confidentiality
Information shared in the Alliance context — meetings, committees, opportunities — is not used to harm other members, nor disclosed without authorisation.
07 Respect
Harassment, discrimination and intimidation are not tolerated, whether at events, on the platform, or in any communication on behalf of the Alliance.
08 Breach
Breaching this code may lead to warning, suspension or exclusion, by decision of the Board, after hearing the person concerned.
